As you've probably noticed, if any of you have bothered to look, I've not been posting on typepad for quite some time. I opened up an account on Wordpress and now have several blogs there. Feel free to keep up with my posts on Wordpress.

After writing on type pad some, I decided to begin blogging on word press. The reason I decided to do this is because many of those that make money with affiliate marketing and Google adwords and adsense recommend using wordpress.
Since starting one blog there, I now have four, the last I began today. If you'd like the check them out they can be found at:
www.marsha4852@wordpress.com A blog lab for my English course this fall.
www.muchadoaboutfreelancing.wordpress.com. As the name implies.
www.muchadoaboutmanythings.wordpress.com. Everything else that doesn't fit into the other blogs.

I thought I'd talk about a couple of books written by John Eldredge.
Quite a few years ago, he wrote a book called Wild At Heart. It showed how man was made with the desire to rescue a pretty maiden in distress. It is something that God placed within the hearts of all men, and a reason that most of us enjoy watching Cinderella stories.
John and his wife Stasi Eldredge co-wrote a book called Captivating. This shows the need placed within women to be rescued by a knight in shining armor, hence again the various fairy tales still being written and portrayed in movies.
More in a bit.
Our God is worthy to be praised!
Have you a heart that's weary? Have a need in your life - it doesn't matter how big, or how small or what category it might be in, God is still interested in helping you out.
Often many of us might tell God how best to meet that need of our, but when we do that, we are putting Him in a box, we are limiting Him. The best thing for us to do is not to worry about the future, nor feel guilty about the past. If you find that difficult to accomplish, then try praising God for who He is, and/or thank Him for what you do have now.
In II Samuel 22:4 and Psalms 18:3 KJV it states:
I shall call on the Lord who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
Our God, the Father of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, is God Almighty, God Elohim and God Jehovah, he is worthy to be praised. I the Old Testament God tells us over and over again that we should praise Him all the time.
Psalm 35:27-28
Let them shout for joy and be glad that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
And my tongue shall speak of thy praise and of they righteousness all the day long.
How you choose to praise God is entirely up to you, in the last Psalm it speaks totally about praising God in various ways.
Psalm 150:1-6
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
Some people praise God for what he has given us; spiritually and all the other categories of which you and I have been blessed. For my life, I praise God for who He is and thank Him for what He has given me. I try to praise Him each morning before I get up and start my day. I've been doing this now for almost a year; there are days at a time I might forget, but when I realize that I have forgotten, I do pretty well getting back into the groove.
My husband and I own a business which is seasonal, and work part-time in retail. We 'get by' but we have debts and usually have a very difficult time getting through the winter, and then play 'catch up' until about June until we try to save for the next winter.
This past year, while practicing this principle of praising God as much as possible, helped me to not be anxious about financial matters. When I would begin to get concerned about a big bill coming up or that type of thing, I was able to put the need back where it belonged, on God's shoulders. He has already promised to meet every need. Phil 4:19; II Corinthians 9:8.
James 1:17 states:
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, which whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Any good quality or characteristic we've received, we received from God. He can only give what He is. He is Holy Spirit, John 4:4.
These are some of the many things I praise Him for:
He is righteous, sanctified, redemption, deliverance, faithful, fruitful, good, tender, gentle, kind, prosperous, victorious, upright, He has integrity, He is wise, He is able and willing, cleansing, compassion, concerned, helper, seeker, finder, lifter, lover, when necessary He will hide us from our enemies. He is the God of plenty, He nurtures, comforts, consoles. He is our high tower, our rock, sword shield, river of living waters, the light.
This past year was the best year we had financially in twenty-two years of marriage. Our needs were met, we had some left over to take a few trips. We were not bound down by money concerns. This winter we had someone give us a large sum of money out of the blue, without mentioning to them we had a need.
God is worthy to be praised!
Praise God for who He is, thank Him for His many blessings on your life and watch your life turn around. Expect miracles every day.
God Bless you.
Took me a while last night trying to figure out how to find other blogs on here. When I used the search engine provided on typepad it only pointed me back to my own blog-oddly enough. I then looked at some of the blogs by the typepad people and decided to see who was following them. In that manner, I was able to locate a few people who share my interests in writing, and I'm now following them.
I'd like to find folks interested in the Bible, and possibly blogging about it, but it's a large task checking to see what each person is interested in.
On a side note, I'm almost done with our employee's W-2's, and then I can move onto paying taxes for them, bills for us, bookwork for the business; Here, there and in between all of that, I hope to study my favorite book, the Bible.
I cleaned the living room today and moved a few chairs around to make room for a card table, to help make room to lay out all the materials to get the job done, yeah!
In 2008 we were approached by some TypePad bloggers about the possibility of writing a "For Dummies" book for TypePad. Naturally we said - YES! Absolutely. If they were prepared to take on the gargantuan task of capturing all the secrets of this little application onto the printed page then who were we to stop them? We were pleased to offer the technical (and moral) support.
Are you actively and consistently engaging your community on Facebook?
Typepad is an interesting platform to utilize to blog on. One actually does their blog on the dashboard portion of the page, as the blog shows what has been written, but doesn't have a place for the author to make any comments, unless they are commenting on their own blog, or another's comments - I suppose.
I need to find myself a picture for this blog, I'm sure it'll be nicer looking than the green abstract currently in place, lol, even though green is my favorite color.
One of the things I want to study is the Greek word prothumous (?). It is generally used in the Bible of having a willing heart.
In order to walk in the steps of Jesus Christ, and be ready to be mindful of God's inner voice, it takes a willing heart. In the Gospels, when Jesus was twelve years old and his parents could not find him, he told them it was time to be about his Father's business.
Jesus certainly is our example of having a willing heart to serve our Father in this day and time.
I've taken a look at the word using E-sword, which is a free program for studying God's word. It has it's limitations, though, or maybe I just don't know all the variables for using the program. I can save a study, but it's hard to bring what I've saved back up to work some more. I don't currently have enough room on my computer to have a different program like Bibleworks.
Looks like I'll have to get out the physical concordance to do my studying with. I may share some here, or you may need to go to my yolasite account to see what I've worked on. If the latter, I'll mention it here so you know when to look, if interested that is.
Hope to get more disciplined in writing something on here and twitter each day. Once I get our business taxes done, then I can get more involved with other projects until our business gets into full swing again in the spring.
I have many things that occupy my time. I work two jobs in the summer; one in retail and the other I help manage a business my husband and I own. Since we live in Michigan and we wash windows, business is quite slow in the winter, so that is the time I get caught up on the bookwork before the season becomes full-blown once again.
I've been at the retail location going on twelve years. I stay there because they offer benefits, insurance, paid vacations, things like that.
I'd like to spend more time studying the Bible. I have several things I've been researching for many years.
I also am hoping to become more versatile in my writing endeavors. I've been a member of writing.com since 2007, I have articles on ehow.com, squidoo.com, associatedcontent and videojugpages.com.
I also have a blog on writing.com and one on improving the quality of your life on blogspot which currently highlights several of our suggestions for cleaning a home.
I have some biblical teachings posted at www.marshamusselman.yolasite.com .
Unfortunately, since I have so many things going on, I find that I do not keep up with all of my blogs, nor do I have the time needed to do what I really want to do.
My hope is that once my writing gets underway that I can quit one of my jobs and do more writing to supplement the income lost from the job.
My goal is to write Christian fiction and non-fiction. For now I'm doing what I can to get established as a writer.
